Registration at Floyd Bennett Field is $40 for motorcycle and rider, $20 for passenger.
Registration at Appalachian H-D is $40 for motorcycle and rider; passenger is free.
The cost of tolls WESTBOUND ONLY, will be paid by the Fire Family Transport Foundation,
for all registered motorcycles.
The FIRST 1000 to register at Floyd Bennett Field and the FIRST 200 at Appalachian H-D to register, receive a free IRON & STEEL logo pin, manufactured by PINSOURCE.com .
If you choose to bring E-ZPASS for your return trip, be sure to bring the silver "read prevention" bag for the westbound leg. If you do not have one, you can order one from E-Z PASS or consider leaving the tag at home.
The total distance for the run is 311 miles. Try to arrive at Floyd Bennett Field with a full tank of fuel.
There is a 24 hr Mobil station 1/2 mile west of Exit 11 on the Belt Parkway. There is also a 24 hr Shell station 2 miles north of Floyd Bennett Field, on Flatbush Ave. (if you fuel at the Mobil you must use EXIT 11N and turn around)

The Floridian Diner (next to the Shell) at 2301 Flatbush Ave, is open 24 hrs, and will have extra staff on hand in the early morning on Aug 23rd. There is another diner just north of the Belt Parkway. From Flatbush Ave turn left on Ave U, the Kings Plaza Diner is on the left..
We are working to have coffee/donuts/bagels at the field, the morning of the run.
If needed, there is a 24hr Rite-Aid on Flatbush Ave across from the Shell station.
The run will stop at APPALACHIAN HARLEY-DAVIDSON in Mechanicsburg, PA. They WILL be expecting us! This stop is 120 miles from Shanksville. A little rest, food, and fuel before the run continues!
We invite you to join us for, little, some or all of the Run!! If you choose to participate in the ENTIRE event, please be prepared for a very long day; upwards of 12 plus hours!! A long, but rewarding day!!
SAFETY IS OUR PRIMARY CONCERN!! THE CEREMONY WILL BE HELD SUNDAY MORNING AUG 24th. IF YOU CANNOT STAY FOR THE CEREMONY, WE WOULD STILL URGE YOU TO STAY THE NIGHT AT ONE OF THE MANY HOTELS WITHIN 15 MILES OF THE SHANKSVILLE AREA, BEFORE MAKING THE LONG RIDE BACK HOME!
